Strawberry Vanilla Delight (Print)

Make a creamy dessert with fresh strawberries and real vanilla bean. Perfect for cooling off on warm days!

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups of strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced to bring the fruity magic.
02 - 1 vanilla bean, split open and seeds scooped out for that deep vanilla touch.
03 - 1 cup of whole milk, for a silky-smooth feel.
04 - 1 cup of heavy cream to ramp up the creaminess.
05 - ¾ cup of sugar, to sweeten things perfectly.
06 - A small pinch of salt, to make all the flavors pop.

# Steps:

01 - Toss the strawberries, milk, cream, scraped vanilla seeds (keep the bean!), sugar, and salt into a pot.
02 - Turn on medium heat and let the mixture warm up while stirring now and then. You’ll want it just before it begins to bubble.
03 - Take it off the heat and let the mixture chill for about half an hour. Gives the flavors time to settle in.
04 - Once infused, fish out and toss the vanilla pod.
05 - Using a regular or immersion blender, blend everything until it’s silky with no lumps.
06 - Pour it all into a container and pop it in the fridge. Leave it there for a minimum of 4 hours or let it rest overnight.
07 - Move the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and let it churn following the instructions for your machine.
08 - Spoon the freshly churned ice cream into a freezer-safe container and freeze for a couple more hours until it’s nice and solid.
09 - Serve up in your favorite bowl or cone and dig into this creamy strawberry-vanilla creation!

# Notes:

01 - Fresh strawberries paired with fragrant vanilla make this a dreamy treat for warm days.
02 - Making sure to chill the mix before churning helps get that smooth, creamy finish.
03 - For bolder strawberry goodness, consider sprinkling a little sugar on the fruit and letting it sit before starting.
