Strawberry Kiss Cookies (Print)

Fluffy pink cookies made from cake mix, sprinkled with sugar, and finished with a chocolate kiss on top. Lovely for celebrations.

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 1 tbsp milk
02 - 2 eggs (large size)
03 - 1 box strawberry-flavored cake mix
04 - 2 tbsp plain flour
05 - 1/4 cup vegetable oil

→ Coating & Topping

06 - 22 Hershey Kisses (unwrap them first)
07 - Sugar for rolling the dough

# Steps:

01 - Crank up the oven to 375°F. Line a couple of baking sheets with some parchment paper.
02 - In a big mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the oil until everything's smooth and blended well.
03 - Stir in the flour and cake mix, then add in milk. Mix gently, just until a soft dough forms.
04 - Scoop out dough (2 tablespoons each) and form into balls. Roll them around in some sugar. Let them chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
05 - Pop one tray at a time in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Keep the leftover dough in the fridge while waiting.
06 - The moment the cookies come out of the oven, gently press a Hershey Kiss into each one. Leave them to cool completely before moving them.

# Notes:

01 - Chilling the dough is a must—it helps stop the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
02 - Unwrap the Kisses ahead of time so they're ready to add to the warm cookies right out of the oven.
