Enjoy soft cocoa cookies bursting with Reese's Pieces. A crunchy peanut butter twist in a quick-to-make sweet treat.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup Reese’s Pieces, ready to go.
02 - ½ tsp salt.
03 - ¼ tsp baking powder, measured out.
04 - ¾ tsp baking soda, no lumps.
05 - ¼ cup dark or natural cocoa powder.
06 - 1½ cups plain flour, leveled.
07 - 1 tsp pure vanilla.
08 - 1 large egg, cracked and ready.
09 - ¾ cup brown sugar, firmly packed.
10 - ½ cup salted butter, soft and easy to mix.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and cover two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Use a big mixing bowl, and whip the butter with the brown sugar until it looks fluffy. Stir in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
03 - Take a second bowl and stir together the flour, salt, cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda.
04 - Slowly fold the dry mix into the creamy mixture until everything’s combined.
05 - Gently stir in the Reese’s Pieces so they’re spread out evenly.
06 - Shape the dough into balls about ¼ cup each, pressing extra candies on top if you like.
07 - Lay the dough balls on your prepped sheets, making sure there’s about 2 inches of space around each one.
08 - Put them in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Rest the cookies on the sheets for 5 minutes, then move them onto a rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Crunchy candies meet rich chocolate in these sweet treats.
02 - Pull them out of the oven just in time for soft and chewy perfection.
03 - Great choice for special events or everyday indulgence.
