Pepperoni Pizza Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base and Fillings

01 - 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls recommended)
02 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce, plus more for dipping
03 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
04 - 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (mini pepperonis recommended)

→ Butter Topping

05 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

→ Garnish

09 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a baking dish or rimmed baking sheet.
02 - Slice slider buns horizontally, keeping them connected if possible. Place bottom half in prepared dish.
03 - Spread marinara over bottom buns. Layer with half the mozzarella, then pepperoni, then remaining mozzarella. Add top buns.
04 - Combine melted butter, garlic powder, oregano, and optional red pepper flakes. Brush generously over top buns.
05 - Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes until cheese melts. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until tops are golden.
06 - Sprinkle with Parmesan and basil. Cool slightly, cut into individual sliders, and serve with extra marinara for dipping.
