Gooey Nutella Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 cup whole milk, warmed
02 - 5 tablespoons (⅓ cup) butter, melted
03 - 3⅓ cups all-purpose or bread flour
04 - ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus extra for dusting
05 - 2¼ teaspoons (1 packet) instant dry yeast
06 - ⅓ cup granulated sugar
07 - 1 large egg
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ Filling & Topping

09 - 1¼ cups (one 13oz jar) Nutella
10 - 1-2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter and set aside. Warm milk in microwave in 20-second intervals until just warm (should be comfortable to touch). Sprinkle yeast over warm milk, stir, and let rest for 10 minutes.
02 - Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add egg, cooled melted butter, and milk mixture. Combine until dough forms. Knead with dough hook for 5 minutes or by hand on floured surface until dough is manageable.
03 - Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
04 - Punch down dough. Roll out on cocoa-dusted surface to 10x13 inches. Spread with Nutella and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cut into 1¼-inch strips and roll up. Place 8 rolls in baking dish.
05 - Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes for extra gooey rolls, or 20-25 minutes for firmer rolls. Top with extra Nutella while warm.
