Put the marshmallows and butter in a big microwave-safe bowl. Heat it for a minute, give it a stir, then heat for another minute until both melt and blend together.

Stir in the white chocolate chips. Keep microwaving in short 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until the mix turns smooth and stretchy.

Gently add the gumdrop pieces, stirring so they’re spread evenly through the mixture.

Use parchment paper to line a 9x13 inch dish, leaving some extra at the edges. Spray a little cooking oil onto the paper to stop sticking.

Press the nougat mix into the dish, smoothing it out with a second sheet of parchment paper.

Let the dish chill in the fridge overnight. Once firm, pull it out, remove the paper, and slice into bite-sized pieces.
