Sticky Honey Chicken (Print)

Fast and flavorful honey-coated chicken. Ready in 25 minutes for an ideal weeknight dinner.

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 1½ pounds chicken breasts, no bones or skin, diced into chunks (1-inch)
02 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
03 - ½ teaspoon fine salt
04 - 3 tablespoons of cornstarch for dusting

→ Sauce

05 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
06 - ⅓ cup of honey, measured carefully
07 - 2 teaspoons of fresh grated ginger root
08 - 2 teaspoons cornstarch to thicken
09 - 1 teaspoon spicy sriracha sauce
10 - 2 tablespoons chicken stock or water
11 - 3 cloves garlic, chopped finely

# Steps:

01 - Pat the chicken dry using paper towels, then dice it into small cubes. Mix with pepper, salt, and cornstarch until evenly coated in a mixing bowl.
02 - Combine honey, broth, soy sauce, ginger, cornstarch, garlic, and sriracha in a small bowl. Stir until smooth, giving it a quick mix before using.
03 - Pour a tablespoon of oil into a big skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken in smaller batches for around 5–6 minutes per batch until nicely browned and no longer pink. Keep cooked pieces warm by covering them.
04 - Add the sauce mix to the same skillet and simmer over medium heat while stirring until it thickens and becomes shiny, roughly 1 minute.
05 - Toss the chicken back into the skillet to coat it completely in sauce. Warm for another minute. Sprinkle with green onion slices and serve hot alongside rice or noodles.

# Notes:

01 - This sweet and savory honey-glazed chicken with tender bites is done in 30 minutes or less.
02 - Try it with stir-fried veggies, jasmine rice, or your favorite noodles for a complete meal.
