Hawaiian Cinnamon Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Rolls

01 - One pack (12 count) of King's Hawaiian sweet rolls
02 - Melted butter - about 6 tablespoons
03 - 2 tablespoons of soft brown sugar
04 - A tablespoon of ground cinnamon

→ For the Cream Cheese Filling

05 - 8-ounce block of cream cheese, softened at room temperature
06 - 2 tablespoons regular granulated sugar
07 - 1 large egg

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven ready by preheating it to 375°F. Also, grease up a 9x13 dish for baking.
02 - Arrange the Hawaiian rolls inside the dish. Carefully carve a little square out of the top of each roll and take out some bread from the center without hitting the bottom.
03 - Grab a bowl and mix the melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Stir until it's combined nicely. Then generously brush the mixture both outside and inside the rolls.
04 - Take a mixing bowl and use a hand mixer to whip up the softened cream cheese until it looks smooth. Toss in the egg and sugar, and keep mixing until everything is creamy and blended.
05 - Spoon the cream cheese filling into the hollowed-out rolls, making sure each one gets a nice amount of filling.
06 - Pop the baking dish into your preheated oven and bake it for 15 minutes. The rolls should turn golden, and the creamy center will set. Let it cool for a little before digging in.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to add fresh berries on top before putting them in the oven!
02 - Tastes the best when served warm.
03 - You can store leftovers in the fridge for about two days.
