→ Side Dishes

18 - Crispy roasted broccoli

# Instructions:

01 - Throw all the ingredients for the steak patties (except the oil) into a bowl and mix them. Use your hands to shape the mixture into 4 thick ovals—each about 3/4 inch.
02 - Heat the cooking oil in a wide skillet on medium-high. Sear the patties for about 3 minutes per side until you see a golden crust. Then, set them aside on a plate.
03 - Throw the butter into the same pan over medium heat and let it melt. Sprinkle the flour into it and keep whisking until it's all smooth.
04 - Turn the heat down and carefully mix in the Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, ketchup, and beef broth using a whisk until it's all blended.
05 - Toss in the sliced mushrooms, and let the gravy simmer for around 5 minutes or until it thickens up a bit. Add some salt and pepper if needed.
06 - Place the cooked patties back into the skillet, nestle them into the gravy, and cover up the pan. Let them cook about 10 minutes more, or until the steaks are done and read 160°F inside.
