When I dreamed up this Chocolate Pizza loaded with gooey Nutella, oozing chocolate, and golden marshmallows I instantly fell in love. That sweet combo of melt-in-your-mouth chocolate and fluffy pizza dough is how we love to wrap up our big celebrations. After just one bite you'll get why folks always ask for it.

Why You'll Love It

Chewy crust, rich chocolate, puffy marshmallows—throw them together and you can't walk away. It comes together fast, and everyone gets to deck out their own slice with whatever chocolate they love. It's just all-around happiness on a baking sheet.

Gather These

  • Melted Butter: Brush this on for a super crispy golden crust.
  • Mini Marshmallows: Pile them on and watch them puff up and get toasty.
  • Chocolate Chips: I go for three types for extra chocolatey goodness.
  • Nutella: This spread is the magic maker that ties it all together.
  • Pizza Dough: You want it soft and chewy so it handles all the tasty toppings.

How To Pull It Off

Slice and Share
Cut it into pieces, serve while gooey, and get ready for big smiles.
Almost Done
Pop it back in the hot oven until the chocolates melt and marshmallows get that golden color.
Pile On Toppings
Sprinkle on all your chocolate chips and lay marshmallows everywhere.
Slather Nutella
Spread Nutella everywhere but leave a border so the edges crisp up nicely.
Bake the Base
Bake on a hot tray at 450°F for ten minutes or so, or until the crust is just browned and puffy.
Shape the Dough
Roll dough to about a foot across; pinch up a little rim and poke the center. That helps the middle bake right through.

Give It Your Twist

Play around with what you toss on top—drizzle some caramel, swap in peanut butter, or raid the candy bin. Berries or nuts are amazing too. Ditch the marshmallows or trade them out for something wild.

Handy Tricks

Soft dough and baking first are what make it awesome. Spread the Nutella while it's still nice and warm and it's a breeze. Keep an eye on the marshmallows—those brown up in a snap.

Ready To Eat

Serve up your masterpiece while it’s still warm and dreamy inside. A scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side or a little drizzle of caramel makes every bite next-level. We bring this out for all the big parties—birthdays, New Year's, anything!

Got Questions?

If you're hustling, store-bought dough is perfect. Want to prep early? Just get everything set and pop it together right before showtime. No Nutella handy? Peanut butter or basically any spread swaps in no problem.

Extra Special Treat

This chocolate pizza is kind of magic at any party. You can play by my steps or go wild with toppings—it's always a hit. It's like a sweet throwback to childhood every time.

Party Crowd-Pleaser

No matter where I bring this, people crowd around. That oozy chocolate and the toasted marshmallows always steal the spotlight. Whether it's a fancy bash or just chilling at home, it fits right in and gets everyone excited.

Kid-Friendly Fun

My kids can't wait to help with this one. Letting them spread Nutella and dump on toppings gets them pumped about baking. They're super proud when they pass out slices they made themselves.

Keep Some For Later

If you've got spare slices, stash them in a closed container in the fridge for three days. Warm them gently in a 300°F oven and melt that chocolate again. But honestly, leftovers almost never happen around here.

Switch Up The Crust

Sometimes I make the base out of cookie dough for an even sweeter treat. Crispy thin crust works great too. That's the fun—mix it up however you like.

Tastes Best With

Pair it with a glass of Port or sweet Moscato for a night in. Or cuddle up with a creamy latte or mug of hot cocoa and you've got a perfect comfort dessert.

Spread Some Joy

Wrap it in fancy foil, jot down topping ideas, and you've got a homemade gift that beats anything from the store. Watch friends grin big when they open their own chocolate pizza.

Modern Comfort Food

Regular pizza started in Italy, but this sweet spin is all about fun. Our family loves transforming classic pizza into something next-level delicious with just a few simple things.

Everyone Joins In

Dessert pizza makes folks crowd around the table. Slices disappear fast while everyone laughs and tells stories. It's more than food, it's bringing people together.

Start Your Own Celebration

Make this your go-to party treat. Throw on candy canes for the holidays, pastel candy for spring, or anything that fits the celebration. Every time I make it, I smile thinking of all the memories we've had with it.

Winning At Baking

Take your time rolling the dough so it bakes evenly. My pizza stone makes the outside super crispy. And don't walk away—marshmallows can burn really quick!

All-Out Chocolate Joy

This dessert pizza makes everyone grin. Every gooey, chocolatey bite is just plain happiness. After your first taste, you'll see why my family never stops asking for it.

Recipe FAQs

→ Is premade dough okay to use?

Store-bought dough (about 1 pound) is fine! Let it sit at room temperature before shaping.

→ My dough didn't puff up. Help?

Instant yeast is necessary. If using active dry yeast, dissolve it in warm water with sugar first.

→ What should I do with leftovers?

This is best eaten fresh while the chocolate is soft. Reheat briefly in the microwave to revive the meltiness.

→ Can I play with the toppings?

Go wild with toppings like candies, nuts, fruit, or different chocolates. Just keep it light so the crust holds up!

→ Why does yeast need warm spots?

Yeast activates better in heat. Quickly warm the oven to 200°F, then turn it off to create a toasty spot.
