Crispy Mozzarella Sticks (Print)

Golden and gooey inside, these crispy mozzarella sticks are the perfect dipping snack. Pair them with marinara for a delicious treat!

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 string cheese sticks.
02 - A cup of plain flour.
03 - 2 beaten eggs.
04 - 1 and 1/2 cups of breadcrumbs.
05 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
06 - 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs.
07 - Half a teaspoon of salt.
08 - Vegetable oil for frying up.
09 - Some marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

# Steps:

01 - Take the cheese sticks out of their wrapping. Toss them into the freezer for a minimum of half an hour to stop them from turning gooey too soon while frying.
02 - Lay out three bowls for breading: flour in one, eggs in another, and breadcrumbs combined with salt, garlic powder, and Italian herbs in the third.
03 - Roll every cheese stick in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and coat it well with the breadcrumbs. If you'd like them crunchier, repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps.
04 - Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat. Cook the cheese sticks a few at a time for just 1 to 2 minutes or until they're golden and crispy. Let excess oil soak off on paper towels.
05 - Serve them warm alongside the marinara sauce for a tasty dip.
