Cheesy Carrot Sticks (Print)

Tender, sweet carrots roasted with a cheesy topping. They're crispy, golden, and make a great alternative to fries.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon oil.
02 - Salt and pepper, as much as you like.
03 - 2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut into skinny strips about 1/4 inch wide.
04 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (parmigiano reggiano).

# Steps:

01 - Mix the carrot sticks with parmesan, oil, and your seasonings. Lay them out evenly on a baking sheet that's been lined.
02 - Heat them in the oven at 425F for 16-20 minutes, stirring them around halfway through, until they're soft inside and a bit crispy outside.

# Notes:

01 - Grab a mandolin to cut carrots faster.
02 - Want more flavor? Sprinkle some garlic powder.
03 - This can work great in an air fryer too!
04 - Optional dipping sauce: blend 1/2 cup mayo with 1-2 chipotle peppers.
