Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease up a loaf pan with some butter or spray it with nonstick coating.

Stir together the flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda in a mixing bowl.

In a big bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until they look pale and fluffy.

One by one, crack in the eggs, mixing nicely each time. Add vanilla, then gently combine the mashed bananas and sour cream.

Grab another bowl and whip the cream cheese until it’s completely smooth.

Spoon half the banana mix into your loaf pan, spread the cream cheese layer over that, then cover it with the rest of the banana batter.

Pop it in the oven for 60 to 70 minutes. Stick a toothpick in the middle—if it comes out clean, it’s good!
