Remove the peel and core from the pineapple, then slice it into rings or cube-like chunks. Toss roughly 2 cups into a bowl.

Mix together the melted margarine, maple syrup, and cinnamon in a small bowl, stirring gently. Pour this over the pineapple, coating it evenly.

Arrange pineapple pieces so they’re sitting flat in the air fryer basket. Cook them at 380 degrees F for 12–15 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they get golden and caramelized.

While the pineapple is cooking, stir together the cashew cream or mayo, lime juice, and chili powder in a little bowl.
