Fried Cauliflower Bites (Print)

Soft cauliflower florets wrapped in a light egg and flour coating, then fried to golden perfection. A quick Ukrainian snack or side.

# Ingredients:

01 - A small head of cauliflower.
02 - Three eggs.
03 - Half a cup of flour for coating.
04 - One-third teaspoon of salt.
05 - A quarter teaspoon of pepper.
06 - Four tablespoons of cooking oil.
07 - Optional garlic sauce ingredients:
08 - A tablespoon of garlic, chopped finely.
09 - One tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley.
10 - Lemon juice, one tablespoon.
11 - Two tablespoons of olive oil.

# Steps:

01 - Split your cauliflower into smaller chunks. Boil them in salty water for about 7–9 minutes until you can easily poke through with a fork. Let them drain after cooking.
02 - Pour flour into one bowl. In another, whisk the eggs and toss in the salt and pepper.
03 - Roll the cauliflower pieces in flour first, then dip them into the egg mix.
04 - On medium heat, cook them in oil for 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and golden.
05 - Stir garlic, parsley, lemon juice, and olive oil together. Pour it over the cauliflower if you'd like.
