Cheddar Turkey Bacon Melt (Print)

A grilled sandwich packed with turkey, cheddar, crunchy bacon, and crisp greens on sourdough.

# Ingredients:

→ Sandwich Base

01 - 4 pieces of sourdough bread
02 - 2 tbsp honey mustard
03 - 2 slices of sharp white cheddar
04 - 4 pieces of deli-style turkey

→ Vegetables and Bacon

05 - 4 strips of crispy bacon
06 - Half a cup of fresh baby spinach
07 - 1 medium red tomato, cut into thin slices

→ For Grilling

08 - 2 tbsp of softened butter

# Steps:

01 - Lay your sourdough bread flat and spread the honey mustard evenly over the slices.
02 - Split the cheese into four smaller slices. Build two sandwiches by stacking turkey, tomato slices, spinach, bacon, and cheese on the bread.
03 - Spread the softened butter on the outsides of all four slices of bread.
04 - Place the sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat. Let them cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until the bread turns golden and the cheese melts.
05 - Move the sandwiches to plates and serve them warm with any sides you like.

# Notes:

01 - Hand-sliced cheese melts better than the pre-packaged type.
02 - You can make it dairy-free by swapping the cheese and butter.
03 - Goes great with a bowl of soup or a plate of salad.
