Strawberry Toffee (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup of sugar.
02 - 8 oz of soft cream cheese.
03 - 1 cup of crushed pretzels.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 8 oz whipped topping.
06 - ¾ cup of melted butter.
07 - ¾ cup of packed brown sugar.
08 - ½ cup of chopped pecans.
09 - 2 to 3 cups of diced, clean strawberries.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to warm up.
02 - Dice the clean strawberries and leave them aside for later.
03 - Combine the crushed pretzels, pecans, butter, and brown sugar in a bowl until it looks like toffee. Spread the mix evenly on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
04 - Pop the toffee mix in the oven for about 7 to 9 minutes until it turns golden. Leave it to cool down after.
05 - Whip the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together in a big bowl until it’s smooth and fluffy. Gently stir in the whipped topping.
06 - Toss the diced strawberries and cooled toffee crunch into the cream cheese mixture. Carefully fold them together until it’s mixed well.
07 - Dig in right away and enjoy every bite!

# Notes:

01 - It’s best to eat this dessert fresh so it stays crunchy.
02 - The toffee crunch can be made early and kept in an airtight container.
