Sweet Hawaiian Rolls (Print)

Soft and simple rolls made from Kings Hawaiian bread, stuffed with creamy cheese and coated in buttery cinnamon sugar.

# Ingredients:

→ Rolls Prep

01 - 12-pack King's Hawaiian sweet rolls, original flavor
02 - 6 tbsp of melted salted butter
03 - 2 tbsp of brown sugar
04 - 1 tbsp of cinnamon powder

→ Cream Cheese Mixture

05 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
06 - 2 tbsp white sugar
07 - 1 egg, beaten

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F and lightly coat a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray or butter.
02 - Arrange the King's Hawaiian rolls in the greased pan. Cut out a small piece from the top of each roll and gently remove some bread, making sure the base stays intact.
03 - Grab a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth. Brush the mixture liberally over the tops and hollowed sections of each roll.
04 - Using a hand mixer in a medium bowl, whip the cream cheese until creamy. Blend in the sugar and egg until it's well combined and silky.
05 - Spoon the cream cheese filling into each roll opening. Be generous, making sure you get enough in each one.
06 - Pop the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake for around 15 minutes. The rolls should be golden on the outside, and the filling should be set. Let them cool just a bit before biting in.

# Notes:

01 - You can add fresh fruit like berries on top before baking.
02 - They're tastiest when served warm.
03 - Keep in the fridge for a couple of days.
