Sweet Air Fryer Pineapple (Print)

Caramelized pineapple cooked with cinnamon and maple syrup in the air fryer. A delicious, lighter treat ready fast.

# Ingredients:

→ Pineapple Prep

01 - Two full cups of pineapple slices (from about half a small pineapple)
02 - 1 tablespoon melted plant-based butter or margarine (optional)
03 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ Optional Spicy Lime Dip

05 - 3 tablespoons vegan mayo or cashew cream
06 - Juice from half a lime (1 tablespoon)
07 - Half a teaspoon of chili powder

# Steps:

01 - Take the pineapple, remove the skin and core, then cut it into chunks or rings. Measure out 2 full cups and add to a bowl.
02 - In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, cinnamon, and melted butter together. Coat pineapple pieces gently in the mixture.
03 - Lay pineapple chunks in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Cook at 380°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they're golden and caramelized.
04 - While waiting, stir together vegan mayo or cashew cream, lime juice, and chili powder in a small bowl.
05 - Eat it warm or cold as either a dessert or side. Pair it with the optional chili lime dip, if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - Space pineapple pieces out in the basket so they stay intact.
02 - Store in the fridge for 2–3 days.
03 - Works as a warm or cold dish.
