Rinse the strawberries, remove the leafy tops, and chop any big ones into smaller pieces.

Throw the strawberries and half the sugar into a blender, and puree until it’s silky smooth.

Pour in the rest of the sugar, along with some lemon juice and water. Blend again until combined.

Transfer the mix into a container with a tight lid, and leave it in the freezer for at least three hours or overnight.

Let it sit out for 5 to 10 minutes before scooping and serving.
