Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 cup warm milk
02 - 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 large eggs, room temperature
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 4 cups all-purpose flour

→ Strawberry Filling

08 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
09 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
10 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
11 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch

→ Strawberry Icing

12 - 1 cup powdered sugar
13 - 1/4 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
14 - 1 tablespoon cream or milk, plus more as needed
15 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add sugar, butter, eggs, salt, and gradually mix in flour. Knead until smooth.
02 - Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
03 - Mix chopped strawberries, sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
04 - Roll dough into rectangle, spread with filling, roll up and cut into 12 slices. Place in greased 9x13 pan.
05 - Cover rolls and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
06 - Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until golden brown.
07 - Whisk powdered sugar, strawberry puree, cream, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.

01 - Pat strawberries dry before using
02 - Let rolls cool slightly before icing
03 - Can add strawberry extract for stronger flavor
