Strawberry Cake Log (Print)

Delicate sponge stuffed with whipped cream and fresh berries. Great for parties or special days.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 large eggs
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
03 - 3/4 cup white sugar
04 - 1 cup flour for baking
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon powder for baking
07 - 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
08 - 1 cup of sliced strawberries
09 - 1 cup of whipped cream

# Steps:

01 - Warm up your oven to 375°F. Cover a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk together the vanilla, eggs, and sugar until fluffy and pale.
03 - Gently fold in salt, baking powder, and the sifted flour.
04 - Spread batter evenly in the pan, and bake for 10-12 minutes until it’s bouncy.
05 - Sprinkle sugar on top, wrap it in a clean towel while warm, and let it cool off.
06 - Spread whipped cream on the unrolled cake, add strawberries, and carefully roll it up.
07 - Pop it in the fridge for an hour before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure it’s fully cooled before adding the filling.
02 - You can swap in cream cheese frosting if you prefer.
03 - Feel free to toss in extra fruit if you like.
