Strawberry Brownie Treats (Print)

Decadent brownies layered with strawberries and a swirl of chocolate. A dreamy mix of fruit and chocolate goodness.

# Ingredients:

→ Liquid Components

01 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
02 - 2 tbsp water
03 - 1/4 cup of oil for cooking
04 - 4 tbsp butter, melted
05 - 2 eggs, big ones

→ Powdered Components

06 - 1/2 cup of chocolate chips or chunks
07 - 3/4 cup regular flour
08 - 2/3 cup cocoa
09 - 1 and 1/4 cups granulated sugar
10 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
11 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar

→ Extras

12 - Chocolate wafers for melting
13 - 3 cups of strawberries, stems taken off

# Steps:

01 - Set oven to 325°F. Cover an 8-inch square pan with parchment, then grease lightly with spray.
02 - In a big bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, the melted butter, the water, and vanilla.
03 - In a separate bowl, mix the sugar, cocoa, salt, flour, and powdered sugar. Slowly stir this into the wet mix until it barely comes together.
04 - Gently stir the chocolate chunks into the batter, then pour everything into the prepared pan.
05 - Cook for around 35-40 minutes, just until it’s set. Leave it in the pan to cool completely.
06 - Put strawberries, with cut sides facing down, all over the top. Drizzle melted chocolate across. Wait until it sets before cutting.

# Notes:

01 - If needed, melted chocolate chips can replace wafers for the drizzle.
02 - Don’t add anything on top till the brownies are fully cooled off.
