10 - 1 teaspoon baking soda

→ Extras

11 - 2 1/4 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips

# Steps:

01 - Use a stand mixer for 5 minutes or a hand mixer for 7 minutes to whip butter, cream cheese, sugars, egg, and vanilla until fluffy and light.
02 - Slowly mix together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt for about 1 minute, just until it comes together.
03 - Carefully fold the chocolate chunks or chips into the dough.
04 - Scoop dough into mounds about 2 inches wide, press lightly to flatten, and chill in the fridge for 2 hours or up to 5 days.
05 - Place in a 350°F oven for 8-9 minutes. Remove when edges are set, but centers look underbaked. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on the sheet.

# Notes:

01 - Stick to block or spreadable cream cheese, avoid whipped or light versions
02 - The dough needs chilling before baking
03 - This can be frozen for up to 3 months
