Sausage Egg Cheese Kolaches (Print)

Fluffy rolls packed with sausage, eggs, and cheese—quick breakfast or prep ahead meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 6 pre-cooked breakfast sausages
02 - 12 frozen dinner rolls, not thawed

→ Egg Mixture

03 - ¼ tsp black pepper
04 - 8 large eggs
05 - ½ tsp powdered onion flavor
06 - ¼ cup milk or heavy cream
07 - ½ tsp salt

→ Toppings

08 - ¼ cup bagel topping mix
09 - 6 slices cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Defrost rolls on the counter for about 20 minutes so you can shape them easier.
02 - Mix cream, eggs, and seasonings together. Cook until barely firm, then combine with sausage.
03 - Flatten dough into rounds, fill with eggs and cheese. Use water to stick edges together if they're not sealing.
04 - Roll dough in seasoning and set on a pan. Let them puff up for 30 minutes under a cover.
05 - Place 2 inches apart, bake at 350°F for 15-17 minutes, then cool for 10 minutes before eating.
