Samoa Cookies Stuffed (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of softened unsalted butter, for tender, rich cookies.
02 - 3/4 cup of white sugar, for that perfect sweetness.
03 - 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar, adding chewiness and a caramel touch.
04 - 1 large egg, holding everything together.
05 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, giving a deeper flavor.
06 - 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, making the base for the cookies.
07 - 1 teaspoon of baking soda, helping the cookies puff up.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt, balancing the sweetness perfectly.
09 - 1 cup of shredded coconut, for texture and a Samoa flair.
10 - 1 cup of chocolate chips, for gooey chocolate bites.
11 - 1 cup of caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade), for that melty center.
12 - 1 cup of chocolate chips (to melt), used for the chocolate drizzle.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix softened butter with brown and white sugars in a large bowl until it's fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, stirring until smooth. In a separate bowl, combine salt, baking soda, and flour. Slowly combine the dry mix with the wet ingredients, stirring until it's mixed. Fold in the chocolate chips and shredded coconut.
02 - Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes to firm it up.
03 - Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C) and get a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
04 - Scoop out around one tablespoon of dough and flatten it. Put a little caramel sauce and a couple of chocolate chips in the center. Fold the dough over the filling and roll it into a ball. Space the cookies about 2 inches apart on your prepared sheet.
05 - Pop the cookies into your preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the sides are just golden. Let them cool completely on the sheet before moving them to a wire rack.
06 - Microwave the extra chocolate chips, pausing every 30 seconds to stir. When melted, drizzle the chocolate over your cooled cookies for that final touch.
07 - Wait a few minutes for the cookies to set, then dig into these coconutty, chocolatey delights!

# Notes:

01 - These are Samoa-inspired treats, featuring coconut, caramel, and chocolate in every bite.
02 - Chilling keeps the cookies from flattening too much in the oven.
03 - Using homemade caramel sauce makes these even more indulgent.
