Salty Caramel Bites (Print)

# Ingredients:

→ Base & Seasonings

01 - 9 oz bag of oyster crackers
02 - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
03 - 1 tsp table salt

→ Caramel Sauce

04 - 2 sticks of butter (1 cup)
05 - 1 cup packed light brown sugar
06 - 2 tsp vanilla flavor

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Cover a baking tray with parchment and scatter the oyster crackers evenly across the surface.
02 - In a pot, melt butter and stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Let it boil for a couple of minutes while stirring constantly until it thickens.
03 - Drizzle the hot caramel over your crackers, mixing carefully so all pieces are coated. Sprinkle salt to finish.
04 - Pop the tray in the oven for 7 to 9 minutes, keeping an eye on it so nothing burns.
05 - Let the crackers cool completely, then break them into chunks. Keep them in a sealed container to stay fresh.
