Fluffy pumpkin treats with creamy frosting, filled with warm spices. Perfect for sharing at fall events.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups plain flour.
02 - 1 tsp baking soda.
03 - 1 ½ tsp of baking powder.
04 - ¼ tsp cloves (ground).
05 - 1 tsp of cinnamon powder.
06 - ½ tsp of ground ginger.
07 - ½ tsp salt.
08 - ¼ tsp nutmeg powder.
09 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
10 - ½ cup of cooking oil.
11 - 1 cup of pumpkin puree (use canned).
12 - Two large eggs.
13 - 1 tsp vanilla.
14 - Frosting: 8 oz of softened cream cheese.
15 - 2 cups powdered sugar.
16 - ¼ cup butter, softened.
17 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.

# Steps:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C) and grease a dish that’s 9x13 inches.
02 - Mix salt, baking soda, baking powder, flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves in a medium-sized bowl.
03 - In another bowl, whisk the pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and oil until it’s smooth.
04 - Add your dry mix to the wet one slowly, stirring gently just until it all comes together.
05 - Transfer the mixture into your prepared dish and bake for 25–30 minutes. Check if it’s ready by poking the center with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
06 - Set the bars aside to cool fully before adding any frosting.
07 - To whip up the frosting, blend butter and cream cheese until smooth. Then, mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
08 - Spread the frosting over your cooled pumpkin bars and slice them into squares before enjoying!

# Notes:

01 - Pro tip: Sprinkle walnuts or pecans on the frosting for a bit of crunch.
02 - Ensure the bars are completely cool first. Frosting warm ones will make it melt off.
