Praline Chocolate Cookies (Print)

# Ingredients:

01 - Cookies: 1 cup chocolate chips, 1 cup butter (softened), 2 teaspoons vanilla, 2 large eggs, 1 cup packed brown sugar, ½ cup white sugar, ½ teaspoon salt, 2 ½ cups flour, ½ cup chopped nuts (optional), 1 teaspoon baking soda.
02 - Cinnamon Sugar Topping: 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ cup sugar.

# Steps:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C) and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Set it to the side.
03 - In a big bowl, beat together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until it's smooth and creamy.
04 - Beat in each egg one after the other, then pour in the vanilla and mix again.
05 - Slowly pour the dry mixture into the creamy wet mixture, stirring gently until it all comes together.
06 - Stir in the chocolate chips and, if you're using them, the chopped pecans or walnuts.
07 - Combine sugar with cinnamon in a little bowl.
08 - Roll the dough into small balls, coat them in the cinnamon sugar, and arrange them on the baking tray.
09 - Put in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes. They should turn golden on the edges. Cool before eating.
