Pecan Caramel Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker or shortbread crumb mix for the crust.
02 - 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter to bind the crust.
03 - 1/4 cup brown sugar to sweeten the base.
04 - 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramel candy for the top layer.
05 - 3 tablespoons heavy cream to make the caramel smooth.
06 - 1 cup pecan halves, lightly toasted, for extra crunch.
07 - Optional caramel drizzle for a prettier finish.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grab a muffin pan and drop liners in each cup.
02 - Blend the brown sugar, crumb mixture, and melted butter together in a bowl.
03 - Firmly press a small amount of the mix into the bottom of each lined cup. Make sure it’s compact.
04 - Pop the pan in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the crusts get a light golden color. Let them cool down.
05 - Put your caramel candies and cream into a microwave-safe dish.
06 - Heat it up in short 20-second bursts, giving it a stir each time, until it’s fully melted and smooth.
07 - Spoon a bit of melted caramel onto each crust, letting it spread to the edges for that gooey look.
08 - Carefully place the toasted pecans on top of the sticky caramel layer.
09 - If you want a little extra flair, add another small drizzle of caramel over the nuts.
10 - Stick the bites in the fridge for 10-15 minutes so the caramel firms up a bit. Take them out, serve, and dig in!

# Notes:

01 - Crunchy pecans meet gooey caramel on a sweet crumbly base—these little bites are irresistible!
02 - Perfect when you need a quick dessert or a snack that’ll impress your friends.
03 - Store them chilled to keep the caramel set, or serve them softer at room temp.
