Pears with Blue Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
02 - 2 tablespoons of honey.
03 - 1/4 cup of walnuts, toasted and chopped up.
04 - A dash of cinnamon (about 1/2 teaspoon).
05 - 4 firm pears, ripe but not soft.
06 - 2 tablespoons of melted, unsalted butter.
07 - Sprigs of fresh thyme for decoration.
08 - 1/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 375°F and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Cut the pears in half, scoop out the cores, and spread butter over them. Sprinkle cinnamon if you'd like.
03 - Place pears cut side up and bake them for about 20 to 25 minutes until they're soft.
04 - Put cheese and walnuts in the pear centers. Then pour the honey and lemon juice across the top.
05 - Pop the pears back in the oven for an extra 5 minutes, enough time for the cheese to melt.

# Notes:

01 - Gorgonzola or feta work fine as cheese alternatives.
02 - Choose pears that are solid enough to stand up during baking.
03 - Go for high-quality honey to make the flavor shine.
