Minty Cream Layers (Print)

Layers of chocolate crust, fluffy mint filling, and whipped topping create a cheerful no-bake dessert. It's inspired by a fan-loved green shake.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust Ingredients

01 - 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreos)
02 - 6 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter

→ Mint Layer Ingredients

03 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese
04 - 1 cup confectioners' sugar
05 - 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
06 - 4 to 5 drops of green food dye
07 - 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

→ Pudding Layer Ingredients

08 - One 3.4-ounce box of instant vanilla pudding mix
09 - 1 3/4 cups of cold milk

→ Finishing Touch Ingredients

10 - 1 1/2 cups of whipped topping
11 - 2 to 3 crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (optional topping)
12 - Mint candies or green sprinkles (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Mix crushed cookies and melted butter in a medium bowl until the texture feels like wet sand. Push the mixture firmly into the base of a 9×9-inch pan in an even layer. Pop it in the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes to chill.
02 - Using a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until creamy. Blend in the powdered sugar, mint extract, and food color until smooth. Gently fold the whipped topping into the mix. Spread this over the crust once it's chilled.
03 - In another bowl, whisk the pudding mix with cold milk for about 2 minutes until it's thick. Once ready, spread it on top of the green mint layer. Let it chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.
04 - Smooth out more whipped topping evenly over the pudding. Sprinkle crushed cookies, green candies, or sprinkles on top for decoration if you'd like.
05 - Let the dessert set in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or keep it overnight for the best results. Slice it into squares and serve cold.

# Notes:

01 - You can prepare this dessert 1–2 days in advance—great for parties or potlucks!
02 - Switch up the base by using graham crackers instead of cookies, or go all-in on mint with mint-flavored cookies.
03 - Keep leftovers fresh by storing them in the fridge in a sealed container. They’ll last up to 3 days.
04 - This treat is awesome for St. Patrick’s Day or whenever a minty bite sounds good.
