Creamy Marry Me Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Noodles & Seafood

01 - 1 pound shrimp, deveined and peeled
02 - 8 ounces of spaghetti or fettuccine

→ Sauce Mix

03 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil
05 - 1 cup of cream (heavy)
06 - 1 cup of chicken stock
07 - 1 cup Parmesan, freshly shredded

→ Flavors & Toppings

08 - A pinch of salt and black pepper
09 - 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes, optional
10 - Chopped parsley for sprinkling on top

# Instructions:

01 - Boil a big pot of salted water. Follow the package directions to cook the pasta until it's firm to the bite. Drain the water and set aside.
02 - Warm the olive oil in a big pan on medium-high heat. Throw in the cleaned shrimp and add a little salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they're pink. Take them out and keep aside.
03 - Toss the garlic and chili flakes (if you're using them) into the same pan. Let it sizzle for 30 seconds. Stir in the chicken broth and cream, then let it simmer gently. Slowly add the Parmesan, stirring all the time, until it melts into a rich sauce. Adjust salt and pepper to your liking.
04 - Put the shrimp back in the pan, along with the drained noodles. Stir everything until the sauce coats the shrimp and pasta nicely.
05 - Turn off the heat. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top and serve right away while it’s hot.

# Notes:

01 - A splash of white wine before the broth can give it some extra flavor.
02 - Eat this as soon as it’s ready for the best creamy texture.
03 - Swap out heavy cream for half-and-half to make it feel a little lighter.
