Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Coat a baking dish lightly with cooking spray or a bit of olive oil.

Grab a small bowl and whisk butter, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, zest, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper together.

Line up the cod fillets in the baking dish, keeping them spread out. Pour the butter sauce over each fillet evenly so they’re covered.

Pop the dish into the oven for 12-15 minutes. The cod’s done when it flakes apart and turns solid white. Thicker pieces might need more time.

Sprinkle parsley on top and add lemon slices for garnish. Serve while it’s still warm alongside salad, veggies, or some rice.
