Simple Pecan Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Crust

01 - One pack (16 oz) of chilled pie crusts, includes 2 crusts

→ For the Filling

02 - A cup of packed brown sugar
03 - One cup of light corn syrup
04 - 3 large eggs
05 - A half cup of melted unsalted butter
06 - One teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
07 - A quarter teaspoon of salt
08 - One-and-a-half cups worth of pecan halves

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 350°F (175°C) and give a 9x13-inch baking dish a good coat of grease while it heats.
02 - Unroll the pie crusts out of their package and press them firmly down into your greased baking dish so the whole surface is covered.
03 - Get a big bowl and stir together the corn syrup, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, salt, and vanilla until really smooth. Add the pecan halves into the mixture gently after.
04 - Evenly pour the filling you just made over the crust in the dish.
05 - Set it into the hot oven and bake for around 30 to 35 minutes. It's good to go when the top is golden, and the filling looks set, not wobbly. Let it cool off completely before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Cool it all the way if you want nice and clean slices
02 - It's delicious whether served warm or cooled to room temp
