Simple Korean Beef Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 2 teaspoons sesame oil
02 - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed
03 - ¼ cup brown sugar, tightly packed
04 - ¼ teaspoon powdered ginger
05 - ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce

→ Main

06 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil
07 - 1 pound ground beef
08 - 3 minced garlic cloves

→ Garnish

09 - Sprinkle of sesame seeds, about ¼ teaspoon
10 - 2 green onions, sliced thin

# Instructions:

01 - Mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, crushed red peppers, and ginger in a small bowl.
02 - Add garlic to heated oil and lightly cook until you smell it. Toss in the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, around 3-5 minutes. Drain any extra grease.
03 - Pour the sauce mix into the cooked beef and sprinkle in green onions. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes until warm.
04 - Top with more green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
