Easy Fried Rice (Print)

Quick fried rice with leftover rice, veggies, eggs, and Asian flavors. So much better tasting than takeout!

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 2 eggs, lightly whisked
02 - 3 cups of leftover cooked white rice

→ Vegetables

03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - 1 cup thawed peas and carrots from frozen
05 - 2 teaspoons of garlic, minced

→ Seasonings

06 - ¼ cup of soy sauce
07 - 3 tablespoons of sesame oil

# Steps:

01 - In a large pan or wok, warm up the sesame oil over medium to high heat.
02 - Toss in the onions, peas, carrots, and garlic. Cook, stirring until they soften.
03 - Move the veggies to one side, lower the heat a bit, pour in the beaten eggs, and cook them while scrambling.
04 - Mix in the rice and soy sauce, and stir everything together until hot and blended.

# Notes:

01 - Switch up with proteins like shrimp, tofu, or chicken.
02 - Day-old rice makes for the best texture and results.
