Holiday Cookie Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup melted unsalted butter.
02 - ½ cup sugar (granulated).
03 - 1 cup packed brown sugar.
04 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
05 - 2 large eggs, room temp if possible.
06 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
07 - ½ teaspoon salt.
08 - 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour.
09 - ½ cup creamy white chocolate chips.
10 - 1 cup red and green M&Ms candies.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 pan with parchment or grease it lightly.
02 - Whisk the melted butter with both sugars in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until it’s fully blended together.
03 - In a smaller bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry mix into the wet one, just until it’s combined.
04 - Gently mix ¾ cup of M&Ms and white chocolate into the dough. Keep some of the M&Ms aside to add on top later.
05 - Spread the dough evenly in the lined baking pan. Sprinkle the saved M&Ms on top and press them in gently.
06 - Pop the pan in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Once the edges turn golden and a toothpick in the middle comes out clean, it’s ready.
07 - Cool it entirely in the pan before slicing into squares to serve.
