# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 medium onion, chopped small
02 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
03 - 1 lb ground beef or turkey
04 - ½ cup milk
05 - Salt and pepper as needed
06 - 4 medium potatoes, sliced thin (around ⅛ inch)
07 - 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
08 - 1 can (10.5 oz) of mushroom soup
09 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

→ Optional Garnish

10 - Chopped parsley, green onions, or chives

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your oven and set it to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Warm butter or oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown the ground beef and onion together, then drain the extra grease.
03 - Combine mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Stir well.
04 - Grease a baking dish. Place half the potato slices in the bottom, then spread the beef mixture on them. Sprinkle half the cheese over it. Do another round of layers.
05 - Pour your mixed soup sauce evenly across the top of the layers.
06 - Use foil to cover the dish and bake for 45 minutes.
07 - Take off the foil and keep baking for another 15 minutes. The potatoes should soften, and the cheese should bubble.
08 - Sprinkle parsley, green onions, or chives on top if you'd like before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Use turkey instead of beef if you want something lighter.
02 - Boost nutrients by tossing in veggies like peas or carrots.
03 - Slice those potatoes nice and thin so they cook through properly.
04 - Makes tasty leftovers that reheat well for the next meal.
