Hearty Morning Bake (Print)

This cheesy egg bake with hashbrowns, sausage, and more is great made ahead for an easy breakfast.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup chopped sweet red pepper.
02 - 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
03 - 26 ounces frozen shredded potatoes.
04 - 12 eggs.
05 - 1/2 cup sliced green onions.
06 - 1 1/4 teaspoons salt.
07 - 1 1/4 cups full-fat milk.
08 - 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
09 - 2 pounds uncooked breakfast sausage.

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 9x13 dish with oil or butter.
02 - In a hot skillet, crumble and cook sausage until browned. Remove with a kitchen tool like a slotted spoon.
03 - In the same pan, soften hashbrowns with peppers and onions for about 5 minutes.
04 - Whisk together your eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Add the cooked sausage, veggies, and 2 cups of cheese.
05 - Pour it in the baking dish, sprinkle on the rest of the cheese, then pop it in the oven. Cook until it sets, around 55 minutes.
