# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
03 - 3/4 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

04 - 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
05 - 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
06 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
07 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
08 - 2 large eggs, room temperature

→ Mix-ins

09 - 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (mix of regular and mini)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl.
03 - Using an electric mixer, cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes.
04 - Mix in eggs and vanilla until just combined.
05 - Gradually add dry ingredients until no flour streaks remain. Fold in chocolate chips.
06 - Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie, spacing 2-3 inches apart. Bake 9-11 minutes until edges are slightly golden but center is soft.
07 - Immediately cut hot cookies with heart-shaped cutter. Cool on sheet 5-7 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
