Korean Ground Beef Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef

01 - 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - Pepper and salt, enough to season it up

→ Sauce & Seasonings

03 - 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
04 - 2 scallions, finely sliced
05 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
06 - 1 tbsp sesame oil
07 - 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

→ Base & Toppings

08 - 2 cups rice, already cooked
09 - Add extra sliced green onions for a fresh topping
10 - For garnish: sesame seeds
11 - Optional extras: a fried egg, kimchi, or sliced cucumber

# Instructions:

01 - Give rice a good rinse, then cook it as the packaging says. You’ll want 2 cups when it's ready.
02 - Add the ground beef to a big pan set over medium-high heat. Break it apart and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
03 - If the pan's got too much grease, pour some off. Toss in the garlic and ginger, then stir and cook for another minute or two until it smells amazing.
04 - Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, then toss in green onions. Sprinkle in salt and pepper as you like. Let it all cook together for 2 minutes.
05 - Spoon the rice into bowls, pile on the beef mixture, then finish with sesame seeds, sliced green onions, and anything else you want on top.

# Notes:

01 - Perfect if you’re meal prepping—keeps well for 3 or 4 days.
02 - Want more veggies? Throw in stuff like shredded carrots or spinach with the beef.
