# Ingredients:

→ Casserole Ingredients

01 - 4–5 medium potatoes, sliced thinly
02 - 1 lb of ground beef
03 - 1 medium onion, diced
04 - 1 tbsp of olive oil
05 - 2 minced garlic cloves
06 - ¼ cup milk (if you'd like)
07 - ½ cup of beef stock

→ Cheese & Spice Mix

08 - 1 ½ cups of shredded cheddar
09 - Fresh parsley for decorating
10 - ½ tsp of paprika
11 - A pinch of salt and pepper
12 - Don’t forget 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
13 - ½ cup Parmesan, grated

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to heat at 375°F (190°C). Slice the potatoes into thin rounds, about ¼ inch thick.
02 - Warm olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Toss in the onions and garlic, cooking till they smell great. Add the ground beef next, stir in paprika, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper, and cook until it’s browned.
03 - Butter or oil a casserole dish. Lay down half the potatoes. Spread half the beef mixture on top. Sprinkle half the cheddar cheese over it. Add the rest of the potatoes, beef, and cheddar. Finally, pour in the beef broth (and milk, if you want).
04 - Cover it up with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes. Then pull the foil off, scatter the Parmesan over the top, and bake uncovered for 10 minutes until the top is golden.
05 - Let it sit for about 5 minutes before digging in. Sprinkle parsley on top, and enjoy this melted, savory dish!

# Notes:

01 - Want it extra creamy? Add more cheese or pour in a splash of heavy cream.
02 - Make sure the taters are cut thin, so they cook evenly.
03 - Add chili flakes for a spicy kick!
