# Ingredients:

01 - 2 (16-ounce) cans green beans, rinsed and drained
02 - 1/2 cup finely diced white onion
03 - 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
04 - 6 chopped slices of bacon
05 - 1/2 cup chicken broth (low-sodium)

→ Seasonings

06 - 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
07 - 1 tablespoon butter
08 - 1 teaspoon sugar (granulated)
09 - 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# Steps:

01 - Warm up a big skillet on medium heat. Stir in the chopped bacon and cook it for 5 to 6 minutes until crispy.
02 - Toss the diced onions into the skillet with the bacon and cook them for about 5 minutes until they soften.
03 - Mix in green beans, broth, garlic, melted butter, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Combine everything well.
04 - Turn the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for around 10 minutes. Stir now and then.
05 - Check the seasoning and adjust salt or pepper if needed. Dish it up warm.
