Soothing Golden Milk (Print)

Calming drink blended with turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon in creamy, dairy-free milk.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 stick cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
02 - 2 inches fresh turmeric chopped or 1 ½ teaspoon powdered turmeric
03 - 2 ½ cups of unsweetened full-fat coconut or almond milk
04 - 1 inch fresh ginger chopped or ½ teaspoon dried ginger

→ Additions

05 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
06 - A small pinch of black pepper
07 - Half a teaspoon of coconut oil

# Steps:

01 - In a small pot, toss in the milk, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and black pepper.
02 - Simmer gently while stirring often until it’s warmed through. Don’t let it come to a boil.
03 - Mix in some honey or maple syrup to your liking.
04 - If you used fresh spices, strain it first. Pour into cups and sprinkle with cinnamon if you'd like.
