Fast Steak with Garlic (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
02 - 1½ pounds of sirloin steak (or ribeye, tenderloin, strip steak, strip loin), sliced into small chunks
03 - ½ teaspoon of black pepper, adjust based on your taste
04 - ½ teaspoon of salt, or whatever amount works for your preference

→ Garlic Butter Sauce

05 - ¼ teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
06 - 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, finely chopped
07 - 4 minced garlic cloves
08 - 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up some olive oil in a large pan over high heat until it’s nice and hot. Toss in the steak chunks and sprinkle them generously with salt and pepper.
02 - Let the steak sit untouched for 2 minutes so it gets a good golden crust. Give it another 2 minutes on the other side until golden brown. Cook in batches if needed so the pan doesn’t get overcrowded.
03 - Move the steak pieces to a plate. Lower the heat to medium and melt the butter in the same pan. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 30 seconds until the garlic smells amazing and starts to get a little brown.
04 - Drizzle the garlic butter over the steak chunks and stir to coat them well. Sprinkle parsley on top and serve right away.

# Notes:

01 - Dry off the steak before cutting to create better browning
02 - Work in batches as needed to give the steak enough space to sear
03 - Give the steak a brief rest before serving to keep its juices locked in
04 - Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days
