Smash the Oreos in a bag using a rolling pin or try a food processor. Keep a quarter of the crumbs aside for sprinkling later.

Blend the softened cream cheese and butter till smooth and creamy. Slowly add the powdered sugar, mixing well.

Gently mix the cream cheese blend into the pudding. Carefully fold in the Cool Whip so the texture stays light.

Layer the cookie crumbs and pudding mixture in a trifle dish, one after another. Finish with the reserved cookie crumbs on top.
