Apple Pie Bombs (Print)

Crispy fried treats filled with gooey spiced apple filling and dusted with cinnamon sugar—just right for fall evenings!

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 (21 oz) can of apple pie filling or caramel-style apple filling.
02 - 1 (16.3 oz) can of flaky Grands biscuits.
03 - 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
04 - Vegetable oil for deep frying.
05 - 1 cup white sugar.

# Steps:

01 - Stir together cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Keep handy for later use.
02 - Put enough vegetable oil in a sturdy pot to cover the dough balls. Heat it to 325°F (163°C).
03 - Pop open the biscuit can and separate each one. Split each biscuit in half, then use your hands or a rolling pin to press them flat.
04 - Place a spoonful of apple filling into the center of each dough piece. Pinch the edges tightly, then gently roll it into a sealed ball.
05 - Carefully place 2-3 balls at a time into the hot oil. Fry for 5 minutes or until golden, turning occasionally so they cook evenly.
06 - Take the fried dough out of the oil and immediately roll them in the sugar-cinnamon mix until well-coated.
07 - Enjoy while warm! Add vanilla ice cream or a caramel drizzle for an extra treat if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - Perfect for autumn, these apple pie bombs are a sweet crowd-pleaser.
02 - Golden and crispy outside, warm spiced apple inside, covered in cinnamon sugar.
