Easy Korean Beef Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
02 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
03 - 1/2 tsp ground ginger
04 - 2 tsp sesame oil
05 - 1/2 tsp crushed red chili flakes

→ Main

06 - 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
07 - 1 lb ground beef
08 - 1 tbsp regular vegetable oil

→ Garnish

09 - A pinch of sesame seeds, about 1/4 tsp
10 - A couple of green onions, sliced thin

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, chili flakes, and ginger in a bowl until combined.
02 - Heat oil in a skillet and cook the garlic for a bit until it smells amazing. Toss in the beef and cook it until it gets nicely browned in around 3-5 minutes. Pour off extra grease.
03 - Pour the sauce into the pan with the meat and stir in the green onions. Let it simmer for around 2 minutes so everything’s warmed up.
04 - Top with extra green onion and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
