Chex Scotcheroos (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup butterscotch chips.
02 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
03 - 6 cups of rice or corn Chex cereal.
04 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter.
05 - 1 cup of light corn syrup.
06 - 1 cup of white sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Dump 6 cups of Chex cereal into a big bowl and set it aside.
02 - Grab a saucepan, turn on medium heat, and mix together 1 cup of corn syrup and 1 cup of sugar. Stir until it’s all dissolved and bubbling. Take it off the heat.
03 - Add 1 cup of peanut butter into the hot syrup. Stir until it’s nice and smooth.
04 - Pour the warm peanut butter sauce all over the cereal. Gently stir and fold everything so it’s all covered.
05 - Line or grease a 9x13-inch pan and firmly press your cereal mix into it. Make sure it’s even on top.
06 - Melt 1 cup of butterscotch chips with 1 cup of chocolate chips in the microwave. Stir until it’s silky and smooth.
07 - Take the melted chocolate-butterscotch mix and spread it over the cereal layer.
08 - Leave it on the counter to set, or stick it in the fridge until it firms up. Slice into squares and enjoy!
